1972 911S Full Service and Restoration

The car has 96,000 original miles and it has been sitting since 1994 in dry storage.

This is a mechanical injection car. This car will be put through a restoration process in our shop. The first sets of pictures are centered around the brake and fuel tank restoration. We rebuilt the fuel system: removed, stripped and refinished fuel tank inside and out, replaced fuel injectors, fuel lines, fuel pump and all rubber hoses, serviced engine, changed oil and filter, and replaced spark plugs. The brake system rebuild consisted of replacement of all brake calipers, replacement of front aluminum brake caliper pistons with stainless steel pistons, replaced all brake hoses and brake master cylinder.  We also removed and restored the front bumper. It was stripped and the metal was prepared for painting. After which we had completed the paint work we continued on to the fog lights/headlight restoration. These were H1 headlight assemblies with chrome fog lights and grills. The next set of pictures after the lights would pertain to the remove and restore of the exhaust system for the 911s.
