This 1980 924 underwent a complete engine rebuild. The engine had head gasket failure which allowed coolant into the combustion chamber and from the car sitting the coolant rusted the cylinder wall. Because of this problem the engine block had to be bored to remove the rust pits from the cylinder walls and then had over sized JE pistons made. We also had new valves made for this engine because they are no longer available. The current owners father bought this car new at Halberts Porsche of Warrington Pa and it has been very well cared for over the years and is a beautiful car!
