We can restore your original 356 fuel tank sending units. We recondition and update all parts, machine a new brass pivot pin and replace gaskets and hardware. We ultrasonically clean parts and have developed methods of cleaning the sender housings that preserves the original marbling finish of the cast. We also manufacture new properly aged plastic signal pin surrounds, as well as early cork floats and ink stamps for the housing.
Specialty Cars has been restoring fuel tank sending units since 2011.
All sending units are tested and evaluated upon arrival. This inspection determines the extent of restoration needed.
